JANUARY PRAYER AND FASTING FOR 2012
WEEK THREE (JANUARY 14 TO JANUARY 20, 2013)
Theme: Lord, Beatify Me / My Life!
Text: Psalm 90:17, 27:4, 1 Tim 2:8-15

One thing I have asked of the Lord, that I will seek inquire for, and (Insistently) require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord (in His Presence) all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty (the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness) of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple. “-Psalm 27:4 (Amp)
EXHORTATION:
From the anchor text, we can conclude right away that
· The beauty of God is the expression His wonder, His majesty, His splendor, His awesomeness, His glory, His sweet attractiveness and His delightfulness loveliness.
· God is beautiful in His nature to behold
· His temple (house, dwelling place) is also beautiful behold
· His dwelling place and the environment of His habitation is beautiful as a reflection of His inner beauty.
· Because He is beautiful in nature (His core and heart), and the environment / place of His dwelling reflects this Beauty, we cannot but be awestruck and gaze if we can access His dwelling place.]In 1 Tim. 2:8-15, Paul admonished women to be modest, decent and appropriately dressed. Their beauty should not come from outward adorning” as Peter advised in 1 Pet 3:3-6, rather, “let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious in the sight of God”1 Pet 3:4
· God manifest beauty is a reflection of His hidden person, of His heart manifest
· God’s beauty has its foundation in His absolute truthfulness, His absolute faith is His word, His unchanging nature (no variableness with Him neither any shadow of tiring with Him), Lev, 19:2 Psalm 47:8, Psalm 48:1, Isaiah 6:3 Luke 3:22.
· God’s beauty is also moreso that the word which birth, produces and upholds it has been tried and made precious, Isaiah 28:16, Prov 30:5, John 1:1, 14.
The nature of God, His foundation and environment must attract the gaze of any man who will experience the reflection of His Beauty.
In summary therefore, beholding, looking and gazing on His beauty through medication, study and living His word will then be the foundation for the beauty for come upon us.
As we pray with this understanding may God’s beauty become evident upon our lives and reflect on everything about us in Jesus name.
Consider this, God is Holy, He sits on a holy throne, His dwelling place (mountain) is Holy, His Spirit is Holy, His word is pure and His glory illuminated His city; how awesome is His beauty!
God’s manifest beauty is not foreign to His person. He produces who He is by nature. Little wonder, Apostles Paul and Peter advised women; "and therefore, the church as a bride of the Lord Jesus Christ", not the waste time pursuing outward adornment without investing more in internal/ hidden beauty of the heart
1. Thank God for the year of all round beauty and establishment Psalm 90:17
2. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your heart and grant you deeper understanding into the nature of God and the secrets of beauty and splendor Rom 12:2
3. Holy Spirit, Purge me from every corruptions of the heart with your fire in Jesus name Mal 3:2, Mat 3: 11
4. Holy Spirit, break the evil in my heart and transform me into God’s image from glory to glory 2Cor 3: 18
5. Father, make me a reflection of who you are and let your beauty radiate to my life as I gaze upon you in Jesus name Psalm 27:4
6. I destroy from today, every deflectors of the glory and beauty of God in my life (Sins and iniquities: lasciviousness, immortality, gossip malice, disobedience, pride, anger) in the name of Jesus
7. Holy Spirit, adorn me with inner beauty trough the effective workings of the word in my life is Jesus name Col 3:16
8. Father, every iniquity in me, tampering with my perfected beauty, today deliver me from them in Jesus name Ezek: 28:14
9. Father, I tear off every filthy garment that sin has put on royal apparel/ garment that you kept in your beauty warehouse for me in Jesus name Zech 3:3-4
10. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to behold God’s beauty warehouse always and empower me to be qualified for His attention. Est 2:17
11. Father, from today, let angels in charge of your warehouse of beautification be deployed to answer to me Est2:15
12. Holy Spirit anoint me afresh that my life will radiate the beauty of God every day of my life in Jesus name. Isaiah 61:1-3
13. Oh Lord, bring me to an encounter with you that will cause my life to shine forth the beauty of your glory Mat 17:2, Exod 34:29
14. Fire of the Holy Ghost incubate my destiny and rescue me from shame and aroma of death Gen 40:16-18
15. Oh Lord, beautify my life and my destiny though the power of your mercy Acts 13:34, Rom 9:15
CONFESSION:
· I have been fearfully and wonderfully made to reflect the beauty of my creator. My God is the perfection of beauty, and glorious in holiness. From today therefore, I declare that all His potentials of beauty that are hidden in me would begin to manifest.
· I decree that every stronghold in my life, working against the full manifestation of the potentials of beauty built into me by my God, are hereby destroyed in Jesus name.
· From my ashes, beauty is showing forth, and from ruins comes a glorious edifice. I am a wonder among men in the name of Jesus, Amen.
